US Carriers

We use UPS Ground as our primary shipper unless the post office has a lower rate for similar service or we are instructed by our customers to ship by another method. We have found UPS to be fast, reliable and reasonably priced.

All UPS Ground packages are insured as part of the quoted cost.

A tracking number will be sent to you if you request it.

Some items are not in stock when you order. If that is the case, we will always tell you that and try to provide an accurate in stock date so you know when your item will deliver. We are modelers just like you. I hate being told something is on the way when it isn't even in stock. You can count on us to be truthful and realistic in our delivery commitments.

We do ship some orders by UNINSURED United States Postal Service. This often can be the least expensive method and our customers normally request that we ship this way when UPS is not the best option. Once we hand your package over to the US Post Office we assume no responsibility for safe delivery. To date we have not experienced any lost or damaged packages but if you want insurance we will be glad to quote the cost for that level of service. Most customers are astounded by how much this costs but please be aware that we do not make money on shipping and will do what ever you wish.
